Couples Jamboree

Annual couples golf tournament known as the 'Quest for the Bell', running for over 50 years. Open to couples from across the US and Canada. The 2026 event is currently waitlisted. The event runs Wednesday to Sunday (5 days) with competitive rounds played on the Pine Needles championship course and the neighbouring Mid Pines course — two of the top four courses in North Carolina, both Donald Ross designs. The schedule includes an optional practice round and welcome reception on Wednesday, followed by three competitive rounds Thursday through Saturday, with Sunday golf available as part of the package. Golf instruction (clinic with Pat McGowan and Donna Andrews) is included on Friday. The all-inclusive lodging package covers four nights' accommodation, entry fee, breakfast/lunch/dinner daily (from lunch on arrival to breakfast on departure), ten rounds of golf per couple, unlimited range balls, cart fees, club storage, prizes, a welcome gift, welcome and farewell cocktail parties, and nightly entertainment. 2026 package rates: Master/Lodge room $3,200+ per couple; King/Deluxe room $3,100+ per couple; early arrival/stay-over rates available by calling reservations.
