The Open Texas Scramble is a gents-only 4-player team strokeplay competition held at Glenbervie Golf Club (Stirling Road, Larbert, FK5 4SJ), a James Braid-designed parkland course. Teams of four compete in a Texas Scramble format: on each hole, all four players tee off, the best shot is selected, and all players then play their next shot from that position, repeating until the hole is completed. The event takes place on Sunday 13th September 2026 at Glenbervie 1. Entry is open to visiting non-member golfers. The entry fee is £30.00 per player (both member and visitor price). Handicap certificates are required for all open competitions. Players should report to the Professional's shop on arrival. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the event date are eligible for a full refund; cancellations after this time may not be refunded unless a replacement player can be found, and same-day cancellations will not be refunded. Tee times are available from 07:30 through 15:00. Bookings are transferable to other players.
