The Seniors Scratch Open is a 36-hole individual strokeplay competition held over two days at Stoneham Golf Club, played on White Tees. Day 1 is Sunday 27th September (tee times 11:20–14:50) and Day 2 is Monday 28th September (tee times 08:00–11:30). Open to male golfers aged 55 or over on the day of competition. Maximum handicap of 10; entries are limited to the 66 lowest handicaps, with the field balloted on that basis and the lowest handicap teeing off last. A CDH number must be provided on the entry form to verify handicap and eligibility. Play is in three-balls with a 95% handicap allowance. The event forms part of the Hampshire Seniors Order of Merit. Entry fee is £130 for visitors and £65 for members. Included in the entry fee: coffee on both days and a two-course full buffet on Monday (served on a rolling basis following your round). No refunds after the closing date of 12th September 2026. The start sheet will be published on the website and notified by email once the draw is complete. No player may win more than one prize.

Stoneham Golf Club was founded in 1908 and designed by renowned architect Willie Park Junior, who also created Sunningdale Old Course. Located on heathland on Southampton's northern boundary, the course is laid out across an old deer park with undulating terrain and parkland features. The course measures 6,400 yards with a balanced design featuring five par 5s and five par 3s, ensuring variety for players of all abilities. The undulating landscape means flat lies are rare, requiring strategic course management. Small greens demand precision with approach shots and test players' short-game skills. While relatively short by modern championship standards, the course rewards tactical play and course management over pure distance, presenting a genuine challenge to golfers across all skill levels. The varied hole designs and natural landscape create an engaging experience that has established it as one of England's notable inland courses.
