The 18-hole course represents the evolution of the original Castleblayney Golf Club, founded as a 9-hole layout in 1905. After closing in 1949, the club was reestablished in 1985 on the grounds of Hope Castle, which overlooks Lough Muckno. The current location opened in 2008 with expansion to a full 18-hole championship course. The club features The View Restaurant Bar and a pro-shop operated by Bobby Fallon Golf. The course is set within a scenic landscape characterized by views across Lough Muckno. The facility offers a driving range and welcomes both members and visitors. Concra Wood hosts open competitions accessible to members of WHS-affiliated clubs and provides a range of membership categories for players of all ages and experience levels, from juvenile through overseas memberships.
