The Kent Cob 2026 is a men's individual medal play competition at Knole Park Golf Club on Saturday 5th September 2026. Players compete over 36 holes from the Black tees under the rules of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club, St Andrews, with local rules of Knole Park Golf Club. Handicap allowance is 95%. Entry fee is £80.00 per member (required on entry). Entries are limited to 51 players selected by ballot from the lowest handicapped entrants. Players will be notified of successful entries on Friday 22nd August 2026 when the startsheet is published. The closing date for entries is 12:00 am on 23rd August 2026. Independent Golfers (iGolf) are not eligible to play in this event; a valid CDH ID from an affiliated golf club is required. Dress code: smart casual in the dining room, but competitors must change out of soiled golfing clothes. Distance measuring equipment is permitted on the course under local rule 8. In the event of a tie, the winner shall be decided on a sudden death playoff. Competitors may have the courtesy of the course on Wednesday 3rd September 2026 (12:30 – 17:00), which must be booked in advance with check-in at the Professional. Entry fees are not refunded for players withdrawing beyond the closing date. The current holder of the competition is Liam Burns from Chislehurst.
