Junior Open 2026

The Junior Open 2026 is an individual strokeplay (Medal) competition at Knole Park Golf Club on Thursday 20th August 2026. Open to boys and girls under 18 years of age (as of 1 January 2026). Boys must have a handicap of 24 or less, and girls 32 or less. A handicap allowance of 95% is applied. The competition is limited to 51 entries and is currently fully booked. The Junior Open Champion is the competitor with the best scratch 18-hole medal score, winning the Hay Bolton Trophy. A separate net prize is awarded for the best net score. Prizes are provided by the John Stoodley Memorial Trust. Entry fee is £20 for Knole Park Golf Club members and £25 for non-members/visitors, which includes a burger and chips after play. Entries close on 13th August 2026. A completed declaration form is required with each entry. Start times are communicated via email on 14th August. No caddies are permitted; spectators are allowed but must keep a safe distance. Mobile phone use is restricted on and around the course and clubhouse.
