The Open Pairs Rumble takes place May 14-15, 2026 at Buncrana Golf Club. This two-day pairs event welcomes competitors of all abilities to compete in Stableford format, where points are awarded based on net score at each hole rather than total strokes.

Buncrana Golf Club is Ireland's oldest 9-hole links course, located in County Donegal overlooking the "White Strand" on the shores of Lough Swilly. Established in 1890, the club was originally known as Buncrana Municipal Golf Club and affiliated with the Golfing Union of Ireland in 1951. The course features a 9-hole links layout set in a scenic seaside environment with views across Lough Swilly. The terrain and design reflect its links heritage, with the course designed to be accessible to golfers of all skill levels. The proximity to the coastal landscape and the "White Strand" provides a distinctive setting that characterizes the playing experience. The club has maintained its historical significance as a community golf facility since its establishment, when the Buncrana Urban District Council acquired the property in 1944 to make golf available to the local community.
