Week-long open amateur competition (the 107th edition) held at Pitlochry Golf Course, Perthshire. Open to playing members of recognised and affiliated golf clubs. Entrants must hold a handicap index of 28 or below and must have a full handicap record containing a minimum of 3 singles competition scorecards from 2026 in order to claim prizes. Entry deadline: payment must be received by 31 August 2026 or the entry will be removed from the draw.

On entry, competitors choose ONE section: Main Highland Open or Seniors 55+.

Schedule:
- Monday 14th: First round 18-hole strokeplay qualifying, incorporating the George Hogg (Handicap) Memorial Trophy and the John 'Puff' Rutherford (Scratch) Memorial Trophy.
- Tuesday 15th: Second round 18-hole strokeplay qualifying.
- Wednesday 16th: Matchplay knockout rounds for scratch, handicap, seniors 55+, and Plate 1 & 2 competitions. Non-qualifiers may compete for the Blair Atholl Cup (Stableford) at Blair Atholl Golf Course.
- Thursday 17th: Further matchplay knockout rounds for scratch, handicap, seniors, and Plate 1 & 2. Non-qualifiers may compete for the Bill Blair Trophy.
- Friday 18th: AM – First round of 36-hole scratch final. PM – Second round of scratch final, handicap final, seniors final, and Plate 1 & 2 finals. All remaining competitors allowed courtesy of the course.

Entry fee: £130 (visitor); £100 (member of any Perth & Kinross County Golf Club); £90 (Pitlochry Country/International Member); £70 (Pitlochry Golf Club full member). A £10 discount applies when paying online or by telephone in advance. Entry is via the online form; a payment link is emailed after the form is submitted.
