The Summer Mens Team Open takes place on Monday 10th August 2026 at St Annes Old Links Golf Club, Highbury Road East, Lytham St Annes, Lancashire. This is an open competition for amateur golfers with active playing handicaps from recognised golf clubs. A valid Central Database of Handicaps (CDH) number is required for all players to enter. Players must have recorded at least three scores on their World Handicap System (WHS) record in the previous calendar year to be eligible to win a prize. The event is a team format competition with Stableford scoring. Tee times start from 8:30 AM. Player changes prior to the competition must be communicated to the club by phone or email. Enquiries can be directed to the club at golf@stannesoldlinks.com or 01253 723597. Bookings are transferrable; if a team member is unable to play, they may be replaced by another player via email to the club with the relevant details. Cancellations must be made no less than 4 weeks in advance for an automatic refund.

St Annes Old Links is a championship links course founded in 1901 located on England's north-west coast in Lancashire. The course stretches 6,907 yards with a par of 72, offering a demanding test of links golf. Founded over a century ago, it ranks among the finest championship courses in the region and is regularly voted in the Top 100 courses in England by major golf publications including Golf World, Today's Golfer, and National Club Golfer. The course has hosted significant qualifying tournaments, including Final Qualifying for The Open from 2018 to 2022, qualifying rounds for the Women's British Open and Senior Open, and co-hosted The Amateur Championship in 2022 alongside neighbouring Royal Lytham & St Annes. The signature 9th hole has gained particular recognition, voted by Golf World as the Top 9th Hole in Great Britain. Bobby Jones famously remarked of the course that "it's difficult to see how you could improve on this."
