The Tidworth Scratch Open 2026 is an 18-hole individual medal strokeplay competition held at Tidworth Garrison Golf Club on Saturday 12 September 2026. The event is open to men and women aged 12 and over with a maximum WHS handicap of 9.9. Entry is online, closing at 5:00pm on 30 August 2026. The entry fee includes coffee and a bacon bap on arrival and a hot buffet after play. Tee times run from 10:00am to 3:00pm and are allocated by ballot draw in handicap order. Full handicap allowance applies. The event requires a minimum of 40 entrants to proceed; otherwise, fees are refunded. Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers, with additional prizes for Nearest the Pin on all Par 3s and a 'Hit the Green Challenge'. Complimentary practice rounds are available prior to the competition (playing after 2pm, bookable via the Pro Shop). Recognisable golf attire and golf shoes (no trainers) are required.
Prizes
Amateur prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Professional prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place (separate prize pot). Nearest the Pin on all Par 3s. 'Hit the Green Challenge' prize for any player who hits all Par 3 greens in regulation.
