The Tidworth Scratch Open 2026 takes place on Saturday 12 September 2026 at Tidworth Garrison Golf Club (H. S. Colt-designed course). The format is 18-hole medal strokeplay (qualifier), played from White tees (Men) and Red tees (Ladies). Full handicap allowance applies. Tee times run from 10:00am to 3:00pm, allocated by ballot draw in handicap order. Open to men and women aged 12 and over; professionals are welcome and compete in a separate prize pot. Entry fee is £64 for visitors and £33.50 for members. Online entry closes at 5:00pm on 12 August 2026. The event will only proceed if a minimum of 40 entrants is received by the closing date; if the minimum is not met, all entry fees will be refunded in full. The club reserves the right to amend the format, prize structure, and catering arrangements if necessary. Entry is on a first-come, first-served basis; a waiting list operates once the event is full. Entry fee is inclusive of coffee and bacon bap on arrival and a hot buffet after play. Dietary requirements can be discussed by emailing the Clubhouse Manager at housemanager@tidworthgolfclub.co.uk. A complimentary practice round is available prior to competition (playing after 2:00pm, bookable via the Pro Shop). Practice facilities include nets, an outdoor range (max 170 yards), two practice greens, and a short-game area with putting and chipping from grass or bunker positions. Pull and electric trolleys are available to hire from the Pro Shop. Bar and restaurant facilities are open throughout the day; the Halfway Hut (9th/10th holes) is open 9:30am to 4:00pm. Golf shoes are not permitted in the clubhouse. Recognisable golf attire and golf shoes (no trainers) are required on the course.

Prizes

Amateur prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Professional prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place (separate prize pot). Nearest the Pin on all Par 3s. 'Hit the Green Challenge' prize for any player who hits all Par 3 greens in regulation.
