Woodruff Golf Course

IL, United States

Opened in 1926, Woodruff Golf Course is the oldest of the three Joliet Park District golf courses. Located in Joliet, Illinois, the course features a scenic, well-manicured layout characterized by sweeping elevation changes and small greens. The topography and terrain present a challenging test of shot-making, requiring players to navigate varying slopes and contours throughout the round. The small greens demand precision and accuracy from golfers, particularly on approach shots. The course's age and established design reflect classic golf course architecture from the early twentieth century. As part of the Joliet Park District's golf offerings, Woodruff serves both recreational and competitive golfers in the region.
