The Senior Men's Open takes place July 4-5, 2026 at Smithers Golf Club, offering senior golfers an individual competition using stableford scoring format. This two-day event provides an excellent opportunity for experienced players to test their skills in a dedicated senior category.

Smithers Golf Club, established in 1931, is an 18-hole course nestled at the foot of Hudson Bay Mountain in the Bulkley Valley of British Columbia. The course features rolling hills, mature trees, and a winding creek that flows throughout the layout, with water hazards present on six holes. Surrounded by stunning mountain views on all sides, the course presents a challenging design suitable for both high and low handicap players. A defining characteristic of Smithers Golf Club is its four particularly demanding Par 3 holes, each requiring precise shotmaking to achieve par or better, making them the primary test of skill on the course. The scenic mountain setting combined with the varied terrain and strategic water placement creates a captivating golfing experience that challenges players across different skill levels.
