Tiger & Rabbit pairs tournament played over 9 holes at Golf Club Spessart. An experienced golfer (the 'Tiger', HCPI 29.9 or better) is paired with a beginner (the 'Rabbit', HCPI 30.0 or higher, or no HCPI). Since 2024, entry is free for Tigers; both members and guests are welcome to play as Tiger. Players with no HCPI may also participate and will receive an HCPI of 54 upon completing their course proficiency (Platzreife). Scoring is strokeplay with a maximum of 10 strokes per hole; if a player has not holed out by the 9th stroke, the ball is picked up and play continues at the next hole. Tee times are allocated in 10-minute intervals starting from hole 1. The tournament is handicap-relevant (HCPI-improving) only for players with an HCPI of 26.5 or higher; it is not handicap-relevant for players with an HCPI of 26.4 or lower. Subject to change. Golf-Club Spessart is an 18-hole championship course located in Bad Soden-Salmünster, Germany, situated at 500 meters elevation in the Spessart region. The course features 18 varied holes set across over 70 hectares of beautifully landscaped terrain with mature tree stands. The layout offers spectacular views toward the Vogelsberg and Feldberg mountains, creating a scenic backdrop for play. The course is designed to accommodate golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced players, with holes 9 and 18 both ending at the clubhouse, allowing for flexible 9 or 18-hole rounds. The design presents both accessible opportunities for newcomers and challenging tests for accomplished golfers. Notable for its integration into the natural landscape, the club earned Germany's first Golf and Nature gold certification in 2005. The course is complemented by an on-site restaurant, La Perla Del Golf, featuring a clubhouse terrace with panoramic sunset views. A short-hole course and driving range are also available for practice and instruction.
