Golf de Montauban L' Estang

Montauban, Occitanie, France

Golf de Montauban L'Estang is an 18-hole international golf course located five minutes from central Montauban on a 55-hectare site. Designed by Yves Bureau, the course is a par 72 measuring 6,346 meters and is the longest in the region. The layout features a flat terrain with elevated greens offering panoramic views, accommodating players of varying skill levels through adaptable difficulty. The course is characterized by centuries-old oak trees that define the fairways and surround the greens, creating an authentic setting that transforms seasonally. The front nine winds through a wooded, immersive landscape, while the back nine opens into a bright, sporting plain centered around a 2.5-hectare lake. Long par-5s are notable features of the design. The course maintains a preserved natural environment and operates an academy for golfers of all ages. It hosts competitions including the Montauban Ladies Open, an international tournament held annually in June. On-site amenities include Le Pré de l'Estang restaurant and a Callaway X Golf Center fitting facility.
