Mixed open greensomes competition at Hayston Golf Club, a gently undulating tree-lined parkland course in Glasgow. Both players in each pair drive on every hole; the best drive is selected, and partners then alternate shots from that point to complete the hole. Entry is £15.00 per pair. Tee times are available from 08:30. A handicap is required to enter: maximum 28 for men and 36 for ladies; players without an official handicap must be able to play to an equivalent standard. Report to the pro shop before your round. Full pre-payment is taken online at the time of booking. Cancellations made more than one week in advance incur no charge; cancellations within one week are charged at 50% of the entry fee; no-shows are charged at 100%.

Hayston Golf Club is a gently undulating, tree-lined parkland course located in Kirkintilloch, just north of Glasgow in Scotland's central belt. Designed by the renowned James Braid and last visited by him in 1946, the course measures 6,080 yards with a par of 70. The layout features elevated greens, deflecting hummocks, and gathering bunkers that take advantage of the naturally sloping terrain. The course has benefited from a long-term tree-planting programme that continues to enhance its character and playability. Currently maintained in excellent condition by the greenkeeping team, the course presents a moderate challenge suitable for golfers of varying abilities. The course records stand at 60 (amateur) and 62 (professional). Hayston hosts popular Men's, Ladies, and Mixed Opens throughout the year. The clubhouse offers dining facilities and equipment hire, including electric buggies and battery-operated push trollies for visitors. The club welcomes membership applications and provides visitor packages with catering options available before and after rounds.
