Southport and Ainsdale Golf Club, established in 1906, is a championship-level course located on the Lancashire coast near Ainsdale. The layout weaves through distinctive coastal dunes and heathland terrain, featuring well-maintained undulating fairways, rolling greens, and strategically positioned bunkers. The club holds considerable historical significance, having hosted the Ryder Cup on two occasions—in 1933 and 1937—and is regularly selected by the R&A for their rotational hosting of the Amateur Championship.
