Prestigious men's amateur scratch strokeplay competition played over 36 holes in one day. First played in 1928. Previous winners include Robert Lee (1981), Gary Orr (1988) and Justin Rose (1995). A leading Surrey Order of Merit competition. Open to playing members of affiliated golf clubs with a maximum WHS Handicap Index of 3.7. If oversubscribed, a ballot will be held based on handicap index as at the closing date for entries. All entries are subject to approval by the Golf, Membership & Social Committee, who reserve the right to refuse entry if, in their opinion, a player's handicap index is not reflective of their playing ability — in particular where two or more General Play scores appear in the counting eight, or where fewer than twenty scores have been returned. Entry fee of £160 includes competition entry, prizes, light breakfast, halfway hut refreshments, two-course lunch with a drink, and a post-golf snack. Online entry only. Closing date for entries: Sunday 16th August 2026.

Prize fund of £2,000. Winner receives a £650 voucher.
