Hindhead Golf Club

Surrey, England

Hindhead Golf Club is a prestigious heathland course located in Surrey, England, originally designed by J.H. Taylor and founded in 1904 by enthusiasts including Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle. The course is set in a natural terrain with fairways bordered by heather and tall pines, creating one of Britain's finest heathland layouts. The club's elevated position provides extensive views of the Surrey countryside, particularly from the second nine holes. Spring brings additional color from rhododendrons and azaleas throughout the course. The layout sits naturally within the landscape, offering a challenging yet visually stunning golfing experience that has made it a respected destination for both members and visitors. The course continues to be maintained to high standards and regularly hosts societies, corporate events, and competitions.
