The Preserve at Verdae is an 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course located in mid-town Greenville, South Carolina, designed by Willard Byrd. Situated on over 100 acres within the Verdae Development adjacent to the Embassy Suites Greenville Golf Resort, the course is carved into a lush Carolina forest featuring hills and mountain-like brooks that create both scenic views and challenging gameplay.
The course presents a moderately difficult layout characterized by its natural terrain and water features. The Preserve at Verdae distinguishes itself through premium turf conditions, featuring Bermuda grass on tees and fairways with Mini-Verde Bermuda greens—the only course in the upstate with this grass variety. The facility offers extensive practice amenities including a full driving range, putting green, and dedicated chipping and short game areas that mirror course conditions.
