Designed by renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Jnr, Club de Golf Alcanada’s stunning 18-hole golf course opened for play in 2003 and has since gone from strength to strength and is now generally regarded as one of Spain’s best golf courses. Situated in the northeast corner of the Mediterranean island of Mallorca, Alcanada boasts an enviable seaside location, with a 6.571-meter layout that blends seamlessly into the beautiful Majorcan countryside. The course hosted The Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final supported by The R&A later that same year, and again in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. The HotelPlanner Tour’s flagship event will return to Alcanada once again with the Rolex Grand Final in 2026, where DP World Tour hopefuls will hope to follow in the footsteps of previous winners at Alcanada, Franceso Laporta, Nathan Kimsey, Marco Penge, Kristoffer Reitan and James Morrison.
