The Staysure Legends Tour offers rare opportunities for passionate amateur golfers to compete alongside some of the game’s greatest champions in genuine tournament conditions. Through a series of Championship Pro-Ams and multi-day Playing Experiences, amateurs are invited inside the ropes to experience the atmosphere, competition and prestige of professional tournament golf. Championship Pro-Am Experience The Championship Pro-Am provides a rare opportunity to play alongside Legends Tour professionals within an official tournament environment. Hosted on championship courses prepared to tour standards, the Pro-Am allows amateurs to test their game while sharing the fairways with Major champions and Ryder Cup legends including Colin Montgomerie, José María Olazábal, Paul Lawrie and Ian Woosnam. Played in a team format of 3 amateurs and 1 professional, using an engaging Texas Scramble / Chase the Birdie format, the day combines genuine competition with an enjoyable and social playing experience alongside some of golf’s most respected names. This is not a corporate golf day, but an authentic introduction to life inside a professional tour event. Participants enjoy access to official player areas and practice facilities, gaining insight into how elite professionals prepare and perform at the highest level of the game. The day includes a welcome gift on arrival, breakfast and lunch served within the players’ lounge, and participation in the official prize giving, ensuring the experience reflects the standards and atmosphere of tournament week. Pro-Am experiences are single-day events and do not include accommodation, making them an accessible entry point into the Legends Tour environment and an ideal introduction to the extended Legends Experience formats. The Legends Experience – Tournament Programme For those seeking a more immersive opportunity, the Legends Experience offers a multi-day tournament format designed for the competitive amateur golfer. Over the course of the event, amateurs compete in Stableford competition rounds played alongside two Legends Tour professionals who are competing in their own senior tour tournament. This format provides an authentic insight into the rhythm of professional tournament golf, from practice facilities and championship course conditions to the pace and structure of competitive play. The leading 15 amateurs progress to a final round, where they compete to be crowned Leading Amateur of the tournament, with the winner presented on the 18th green as part of the official prize ceremony. The Legends Experience includes four nights’ luxury accommodation, private transfers, welcome reception and tournament hospitality, gifting on Pro Am day and initial experience day, creating a fully curated tour-level experience both on and off the course. Unlike traditional Pro-Am formats, these experiences place amateurs within the environment of an official professional tournament, not alongside it.
