The o35tour is a specialized golf tour for mid-amateur and senior golfers aged 35 and over with a WHS handicap index of 18 or below. The tour operates approximately 14 events annually, consisting of strokeplay competitions at quality UK courses plus international tournaments in Portugal and Spain. Events range from 18 holes a day, single-day 36-hole competitions to multi-day 54-hole and 72 hole tournaments, including recognised WAGR events. The tour emphasizes a club-like atmosphere with friendly camaraderie, attracting like-minded golfers who value both competitive and social aspects of the game. The tour maintains an Order of Merit system running from November to October each year, with players competing in four categories: Mid-Amateur Gross, Mid-Amateur Net, Senior Gross, and Senior Net. Points are awarded based on finishing position and event length, allowing fair comparison across different handicap levels. Tour membership costs £80 for the season and provides discounted entry fees for each event, plus eligibility for Order of Merit points. The top three finishers in each OOM category qualify for the tour finals day held in Spain, which includes a complimentary practice round. The tour attracts golfers seeking a competitive yet welcoming environment where many participants develop lasting friendships. Events feature both nett and gross prizes, and the calendar includes prestigious fixtures such as British, Scottish and Welsh Mid-Amateur championships at renowned courses. The combination of quality courses, handicap-appropriate competition, structured OOM tracking, and international tournaments provides an organized platform for mid-amateur golfers to compete while connecting with peers in their age group.
