The Caversham (Reading) hosts this 36-hole individual strokeplay event on Tuesday 21st July 2026, playing from the White Tees. Open to Mid-Amateur golfers (over 35) with a maximum handicap of 18, and Senior golfers (over 50). Prizes awarded for Mid-Amateur and Senior Nett and Gross. Entry fee is £149 for O35tour members, £159 for non-members, £65 for club members, or £80 to become a tour member. Entry includes coffee and bacon rolls on arrival and lunch between rounds. Closing date: Monday 13th July 2026. Course designed by Canadian architect Tom McBroom, featuring dramatic bunkering and undulating terrain.

The o35tour is a golf tour for mid-amateur and senior golfers aged 35 and over with a WHS handicap index of 18 or below. It runs around 14 events a year: strokeplay competitions at UK courses plus tournaments in Portugal and Spain. Formats vary from single-day 18-hole and 36-hole events to multi-day 54- and 72-hole tournaments, including some recognised WAGR events. The tour runs an Order of Merit from November to October, split into four categories: Mid-Amateur Gross, Mid-Amateur Net, Senior Gross, and Senior Net. Points are awarded by finishing position and event length, so results across different event sizes can be compared on the same scale. Season membership costs £80 and gets you reduced entry fees for each event plus eligibility for Order of Merit points. The top three in each OOM category qualify for the tour finals in Spain, which includes a practice round. Events award both nett and gross prizes, and the calendar includes the British, Scottish and Welsh Mid-Amateur championships. Overall, it's a structured setup for mid-amateur and senior golfers to compete against others in their age and handicap range, with a mix of UK and overseas events.
