Glossop & District Golf Club

Glossop, Derbyshire, England

Glossop & District Golf Club is a 5,548-yard golf course set within the Peak District National Park, offering an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all abilities. Located in Derbyshire, the course features a distinctive design that transitions from low-lying parkland holes into moorland terrain as players progress toward the Pennines. The course is characterized by excellent greens and well-conditioned fairways, with every hole providing views across the beautiful rolling hills of the surrounding landscape. The gradual elevation change from parkland to moorland creates varied playing conditions and scenic vistas throughout the round. Suitable for golfers of different skill levels, the course presents a balanced challenge while maintaining accessibility. The natural topography of the Peak District setting provides an attractive and engaging layout, combining the aesthetic appeal of parkland golf with the more rugged character of moorland play as the course climbs toward higher elevations.
