Dunfermline Golf Club

Crossford, Fife, Scotland

Dunfermline Golf Club is situated in the picturesque village of Crossford in Fife, set within the rolling woodlands of Pitfirrane Castle. The club features two courses: the main Pitfirrane Course, a 6,121-yard parkland layout with a par of 72, and the Halkett Course, a par-3 nine-hole course designed to challenge short-game skills. The setting is characterized by lush fairways, serene views, and rolling hills typical of Fife's landscape. The parkland course is meticulously maintained and offers a challenge suitable for players of all skill levels. A distinctive feature is the clubhouse, believed to be the oldest golf clubhouse in the world, housed within Pitfirrane Castle itself, which dates back to 1583. From this historic structure, players enjoy stunning views across the golf course. The club provides professional instruction through a PGA-certified professional and maintains a fully-stocked pro shop offering equipment, custom fitting services, and golf lessons for all ages and abilities.
