Drax Golf Club's annual Senior Open is a stableford competition for gentlemen aged 55 and over, played in 2-player teams (pairs) using the betterball format. The event takes place on Wednesday 5th August 2026, with tee times available from 08:00 to 14:30. Players compete from the championship white tees with an 85% handicap allowance. The entry fee is £40 per pair (£20.00 per player), which includes complimentary refreshments at the start, at the halfway house, and after the round. Prizes include a £200 voucher for the winning pair, Marks & Spencer vouchers for the top 6 pairs, and nearest-the-pin prizes on all par 3s. Visitor entry is available online via the BRS Golf booking platform. Normal golf dress code applies; no metal spikes permitted.
