Rockmount Golf Course

County Down, Northern Ireland

Rockmount Golf Club is a parkland championship course located south of Belfast city centre near Carryduff, Northern Ireland. The eighteen-hole course was developed from farmland by Robert and Diane Patterson, officially opening on May 8, 1995, with European Ryder Cup player Darren Clarke performing the opening ceremony. The course is designed to championship standard and features a modern clubhouse with restaurant and bar facilities. It serves members and visitors, hosting regular competitions and social events throughout the year, including ladies, gents, and junior fixtures. The club maintains active participation in competitive golf, with annual prize nights recognizing competition winners across all categories. The course is set within parkland terrain and offers views across the grounds. Rockmount accommodates various levels of golfers, from juniors to experienced players, and provides conference facilities alongside its golfing amenities. The club includes a pro shop stocking golf equipment and apparel, and operates a restaurant available to both golfers and non-golfing visitors.
