A mixed 4-person Texas Scramble open competition at Buckpool Golf, Sports & Social Club on 29 August 2026. Teams of four compete using the Texas Scramble format, in which all players tee off and the best shot is selected for each subsequent stroke until the ball is holed. Scoring is by strokeplay. Tee times are available from 07:00 to 14:00 in 10-minute intervals, with 1 to 4 slots bookable per tee time. Entry fee is £15.00 per player for both members and visitors. Players must hold a handicap of 28 or lower (men) or 36 or lower (ladies), or be able to play to an equivalent standard. Bookings can be cancelled online using the unique booking reference, or by contacting the club. If the course is closed due to bad weather, an alternative date will be offered.
