Wellingborough Golf Club is a private members' club established in 1893, situated at the 18th-century Harrowden Hall in Northamptonshire. The championship golf course spans 160 acres of rolling parkland, offering an 18-hole layout set within beautifully maintained grounds. The course is recognized as a premier venue, regularly hosting PGA and County golf events. A notable feature is its finishing hole, recognized by Today's Golfer as one of the best finishing holes in golf, alongside courses like The Belfry and Carnoustie. The course underwent significant upgrades in 2017 with a comprehensive bunker refurbishment program, including repositioning, removal, and addition of bunkers, all lined with modern rubber-crumb design and filled with tournament specification sand for superior drainage. In spring 2023, substantial investment was made with the installation of a full irrigation system to enhance playability, definition, and presentation. The course design emphasizes both challenge and playability across its layout. The setting within rolling parkland provides an attractive landscape, with Harrowden Hall's five acres of gardens complementing the golfing experience. The club welcomes both members and pre-booked visitors.
