The Seniors August Open is a Gents Senior Four Ball Betterball (4BBB) Stableford competition held at Oswestry Golf Club, Aston Park, Queens Head, Oswestry, Shropshire, SY11 4JJ on Wednesday 5 August 2026. The competition is open to male senior golfers playing in pairs (2-player teams). The handicap allowance is 85% of playing handicap, with a maximum course handicap of 28. The visitor entry fee is £30.00 per team. Entry is made online. Buggies are not permitted unless a doctor's certificate is provided. The club operates a dress code: traditional golfing attire on the course and smart casual in the clubhouse; no jeans, football shirts or flip flops. Prizes are awarded for places 1 to 5. Cancellations must be made more than one month before the event date for a refund; a £5 administration charge applies. The club reserves the right to request a handicap certificate or CDH number.
