Vicars Cross Golf Club, established in 1939, is a parkland course located in Great Barrow, Chester, offering an excellent test of golf for all abilities. The 18-hole course features a scenic parkland setting with notable hazards including ponds, particularly around hole 16. The club maintains one of the best practice facilities in the area and is currently undergoing upgrades.

On-site PGA qualified professional Martin O'Connor provides lessons using modern teaching technology. The club has experienced significant growth in recent years and offers flexible membership packages for all ages, including a Ladies New 2 Golf coaching programme.
