Vicars Cross Golf Club, established in 1939, is a parkland course located in Great Barrow, Chester, offering an excellent test of golf for all abilities. The 18-hole course features a scenic parkland setting with notable hazards including ponds, particularly around hole 16. The club maintains one of the best practice facilities in the area and is currently undergoing upgrades.
The course accommodates golfers of varying standards and is known for being welcoming and inclusive. On-site PGA qualified professional Martin O'Connor provides lessons using modern teaching technology. The club has experienced significant growth in recent years and offers flexible membership packages for all ages, including a Ladies New 2 Golf coaching programme.
