Monmouth Golf Course

Monmouthshire, Wales

Monmouth Golf is an 18-hole parkland course located in Monmouthshire, Wales, situated approximately 1.5 miles from the historic town of Monmouth, just off the A40. The course is nestled in undulating countryside on the edge of the River Wye, with views of the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean, sharing its landscape with local deer. Established over 125 years ago and known as the "Jewel in the Hills," Monmouth Golf offers a challenging layout suitable for golfers of all abilities. The course features no easy holes and is beautifully structured throughout, presenting a true test of golfing skill. The undulating terrain and parkland setting contribute to its picturesque character and demanding nature. The course is popular with golf societies and welcomes both visitors and members. It maintains a clubhouse offering dining facilities and is particularly noted for its friendly atmosphere and warm hospitality. The course's elevation and terrain mean buggies are available for those preferring not to walk the full distance.
