The Driftwood 2-Man Better Ball is a 36-hole men's team competition held at Parry Sound Golf & Country Club on August 8-9, 2026. The event uses the 2-Man Better Ball format (both partners play their own ball, recording the better gross score on each hole) with stableford scoring. Entry fees are $352 for two members, $492 for one member and one non-member, and $632 for two non-members. Power cart fees are included. Entries close on August 2, 2026. Play begins at 9:30 am shotgun start each day; players should arrive by 9:00 am. Day 1 is played from white tees, Day 2 from blue or white tees by flight. The entry fee includes a practice round on Friday, August 7th (power cart fees for practice are extra). Optional side competitions include Skins ($20 per team per day) and Hole-in-One ($10 per team). Additional competitions include Closest to Pin (Holes 2 & 10 on Saturday) and Long Drive (Hole 15 on Saturday). Food is served after rounds on both days, with prizes awarded after dinner on Sunday. Flights are assigned based on first-round results. Ties are broken by score analysis; overall champions are determined by sudden death playoff if necessary. The event is open to visiting non-member golfers.
