Golf La Commanderie is an 18-hole championship course with a par of 72, located in the heart of the Aumusse park between Bourg-en-Bresse and Mâcon in the Ain department. The course was established in 1964 by designer Michaël Fenn and occupies 45 hectares of mature parkland featuring centuries-old trees with diverse species. Situated just five minutes from Mâcon and twenty minutes from Bourg-en-Bresse, the course is set within a historic bicentennial park that provides a naturally scenic and preserved landscape. Since 2013, extensive drainage and maintenance work has improved playability throughout the year. The facility has implemented environmentally conscious practices, limiting pesticide use to support local fauna and flora. The course operates year-round and is complemented by practice facilities, professional instruction, and an on-site restaurant open to the public.
