The Hickory Sticks Open is a charity golf event held at Pebble Beach, raising funds for the Pebble Beach Company Foundation. Players use vintage hickory clubs and dress in period attire. Entry fee is $350 per player if registered by 1 June 2026, rising to $400 per player after that date. A saving of $200 is available when booking a foursome. Entry includes use of hickory sticks clubs, tournament balls, and food. Player names must be provided no later than 15 July 2026. All sales are final and no refunds are available. Of the entry fee, $175 is tax deductible.

Spyglass Hill Golf Course is an 18-hole championship layout designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., located on California's Monterey Peninsula within the Del Monte Forest. The course features a par of 72 and is renowned for its dramatic contrast between the first five holes, which showcase sweeping ocean views and dunes reminiscent of Pine Valley, and the remaining thirteen holes set among towering pines in the forest. The opening five holes present spectacular coastal scenery with challenging dunescape golf. The back nine transitions into the understated natural beauty of the Del Monte Forest, incorporating design elements inspired by Augusta National. Notable holes include the par-4 fourth, Blind Pew, which Robert Trent Jones Sr. cited as his favorite par-4 design, featuring a dramatically sunken green only ten yards wide and fifty-five yards deep. Spyglass Hill has hosted prestigious championships, serving as an annual co-host of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and as the stroke-play venue for two U.S. Amateur Championships (1999 and 2018). The course is consistently ranked among America's greatest public courses and is recognized as one of the country's most challenging layouts. The course's name derives from Robert Louis Stevenson's novel Treasure Island, reflected in creative hole names throughout the layout.
