Golf de Son Vida is an 18-hole championship course located in the exclusive Son Vida residential area of Palma, Mallorca. Inaugurated in 1964 and designed by F.W. Hawtree, the course was redesigned in 2001 by Kurt Rosskneght. Playing to a par 71 with a length of 5,601 meters, it presents moderate difficulty with a minimum handicap requirement of 5.4. The course winds through majestic mansions within the Son Vida urbanization, demanding precise strategic play throughout. The signature finishing hole is a dramatic par 5 at 470 meters that challenges players with water hazards on the second shot, testing even experienced golfers. Son Vida holds significant tournament history as one of few Mallorca courses to host the European Tour twice—in 1990 and 1994. Notable victories include Severiano Ballesteros's triumph in 1990 and Barry Lane's win in 1994. The course has earned the prestigious Silver Flag award from 59club, recognizing excellence in customer service.
