Founded in 1899 as a 9-hole course, it evolved into its current 18-hole layout in 1992, with the modern course design by Rocky Roquemore opening in 2002. The course is distinguished by its unique feature of two dry stone bridges, the most recent completed in 2014. Despite appearing hilly, the course is terraced across the hillside, providing a relatively level playing experience that moves back and forth across the terrain.
