The Junior Open is a 18-hole medal (strokeplay) competition held on the Championship Course at Burnham & Berrow Golf Club on Sunday 19th July 2026. The event is open to boys and girls under the age of 18 as of 1st January 2026. Boys must have a Handicap Index of 24.0 or below, and girls must have a Handicap Index of 32.0 or below. Handicap allowance is 95%. Entry is open to both members and visitors, with separate fees of £15 for members and £30 for visitors. Prizes include the Mills Shield (Best Gross) and Love Cups (Best Nett) for both boys and girls, plus three divisional net prizes and best gross prizes for girls and boys. Nearest The Pin prizes are also awarded. The competition is played from the Mens Purple tees (Men) and Ladies Blue tees (Ladies). Entry is online via the club's booking system.
