Lydd Golf Club

Lydd, Kent, England

Lydd Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located in Romney Marsh, Kent, featuring a par 71 layout with 6,629 yards. Situated in rural Kent countryside approximately one hour from London, the course is set within the distinctive Romney Marsh landscape, characterized by its flat terrain and water features. A defining characteristic of Lydd Golf Club is the presence of beautiful lakes on 11 of the 18 holes, which significantly influences course strategy and difficulty. These water hazards create challenging playing conditions and add visual interest throughout the round. The course welcomes golfers of all skill levels and offers a blend of recreational and competitive play. The club provides modern amenities including a Toptracer Range for practice, a pro shop, tuition programs through The Marsh Golf Academy, and on-site catering facilities. The course is open to both members and visitors on a carry-only basis, with additional offerings including society days and corporate event hosting. The combination of water hazards, open marsh terrain, and accessibility makes Lydd a notable challenge within the Kent golf landscape.
