The Senior Mens Open takes place at McDonald Golf Club (also known as McDonald Golf Course), Hospital Road, Ellon, Aberdeenshire, AB41 9AW, on Monday 3 August 2026. This is an individual strokeplay competition for senior male golfers. Entry fee is £15 for visitors (£8 for members). Booking is made online via the BRS Golf system, with full payment taken at the time of booking. Cancellations made more than one week before the competition receive a full refund; no refund is given after that point. A handicap of 28 or less is required to enter. Normal GUI/ILGU dress code applies — denim, shorts, and football/rugby tops are not permitted. Note: Openplay members must pay both a green fee and an entry fee.
