Chesterfield Golf Club is a well-established parkland course located in Derbyshire on the fringes of the Peak District. The course features back nine holes designed by legendary architect Harry Colt, whose portfolio includes Royal Portrush and Sunningdale. These Colt-designed holes seamlessly integrate with the front nine layout, offering what modern architects recognize as classic Colt design principles.
Set amidst stunning Derbyshire countryside, the course presents a test of golf suitable for players of all abilities. The club has established itself as a significant tournament venue, hosting the Midlands Amateur Championships, English Schools Championships, and England v Wales international fixtures. In 2025, it hosted the Derbyshire Amateur Championships and served as a venue for county representative matches. The club has been a Mizuno Pairs Tour venue since 2021.
