The Mixed Open (4 BBB Stableford) takes place on Sunday 12th July 2026 at Wheathill Golf Club in Somerset. This is a mixed pairs event played as Four Ball Better Ball using Stableford scoring, where each side consists of one man and one lady, with the better score of the two partners counting at each hole. The entry fee is £35 per person for visitors and £25 per person for Friendly Golf members, which includes a meal after the match. Players must hold an active Handicap Index of no more than 36.0 (for both men and ladies) and provide handicap certificates with 10-digit IDs. Entry forms must be submitted by 21st June 2026, with no refunds available after 13th June 2026. Entries are accepted by email to Karen Forward (Kdforward@aol.com) or by post to: Mrs Karen Forward, Kingsfield, Higher Hurcott, Somerton, TA11 6AA. Payment can be made by cheque (payable to Wheathill Golf Club Ladies Section) or by BACS (Sort Code: 60-23-06, Account No: 57496536, Ref: MXOPEN + surname). Buggies are not permitted unless on medical grounds agreed prior to play. DMDs (distance-measuring devices) may be used. Prizes include nearest the pin (men and ladies) and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
