Merbein Golf Club is an 18-hole course located at 355 McEdward Street, Cabarita, approximately ten minutes from Mildura in Victoria's Sunraysia District. Established in 1926 and relocated to its current site in the 1930s, the course has been maintained by volunteers throughout its history. Set among native Mallee trees and grass greens, the course offers one of the region's top layouts and features native birdlife. The landscape reflects the country golfing character typical of regional Victoria. A new clubhouse opened in June 2024, designed to accommodate both indoor and outdoor events. The course welcomes golfers of all skill levels, operating daily with competitions held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at noon. During daylight saving, nine-hole games are also available on Friday evenings. Cart hire is available daily. The club maintains flexible membership options and provides accessible golfing for both serious and casual players. Additionally, the club services the local community by operating the Cabarita Post Office, staffed by volunteers.
