Engadine Amateur Championship

The oldest amateur golf tournament of Switzerland, held since 1893. The Championship is played over 54 holes of single strokeplay across 3 days without a cut, with all rounds on the Samedan golf course. The competition is open to all amateur golfers and is limited to 120 participants. If entries exceed 120, players with the higher exact handicap will be eliminated. Maximum exact handicap: 11.0. All competitors must be a member of a golf club that is itself affiliated to its national golf federation, union, or association. The Championship is part of the official World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR). A practice round is available on Thursday 25 June (tee time booking required). Competitive rounds take place on Friday 26 June (Round 1), Saturday 27 June (Round 2), and Sunday 28 June (Round 3), followed by an apéritif and prize-giving ceremony. Entry fee: CHF 160 per player (CHF 95 for players under 21 years). Fee includes the practice round, match and green fees, a halfway snack, and a farewell snack. Registration is by email or online only. Entry deadline: Friday 19 June 2026 at 12:00.
