Oak Brook Golf Club

Oak Brook Golf Club is a semi-private parkland course located in Oak Brook, Illinois, in Chicago's western suburbs. Opened in 1980 and designed by Roger Packard and Dennis Wise, the course features an 18-hole layout with a par of 72 and stretches 6,541 yards from the longest tees, offering four sets of tees for varying skill levels. The course is characterized by water features, well-manicured bunkers, and undulating greens that create both challenge and playability. The back nine is notably difficult, with particularly challenging holes including the 214-yard, par-3 17th, which plays over water. The layout combines wide-open holes with tight, tree-lined passages throughout. Oak Brook has hosted significant tournament play, including the 1987 PGA Tour's Beatrice Western Open (won by D.A. Weibring) and the 1991 LPGA Tour's Chicago Sun-Times Shoot-out (won by Martha Nause). The facility includes an expansive grass tee driving range with separate public and premier private sections, plus chipping greens, putting green, and practice bunker. The clubhouse features a full-service restaurant and bar with indoor and patio dining overlooking the ninth hole.
