The Aukrug Masters 2026 takes place from Thursday 13 August to Sunday 16 August 2026 at Mittelholsteinischer Golf-Club Aukrug. This is a 72-hole individual strokeplay competition (one round per day) with handicap scoring. The event is open to visitors and members. Men and ladies are limited to a maximum handicap of 28 (youth born 2008 or later: 24). Ten wildcards for handicaps over 28 are available by application via the club secretariat. Entry fee is €190 for guests and €90 for club members. Online entry is available via the club's registration system, with a closing date of 3 August 2026 at 12:00. Start times are available from 08:00 and 13:00 on Thursday and Friday, from 08:00 on Saturday (ascending order by results), and from 08:00 on Sunday (descending order by results). There is also a 3-team competition option available.

Mittelholsteinischer Golf-Club Aukrug is located in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein within the Aukrug Nature Park, established over five decades ago. The course features 18 holes plus a short course (9-hole layout), set amid rolling hills and valleys with characteristic natural vegetation including oak, fir, and birch trees, interspersed with alder marshes, ponds, and shrubland. The course offers both competitive challenges and accessible play for golfers of varying abilities. The landscape provides scenic views across the undulating terrain, creating visual interest throughout the round. The club accommodates beginners through its golf school and short course, where players can gain experience before progressing to the full 18-hole course. The facility hosts various tournaments and competitions, including the Aukrug Masters held annually in August. The club maintains active playing groups for ladies, seniors, youth, and newcomers. The course operates seasonally with winter play from November through March using winter tees and greens. Cart usage is restricted on the course, and the natural setting emphasizes the integration of the layout within the protected landscape.
