31st Annual Pepsi Gallatin Valley Open

2-day, 36-hole, cumulative low score, stroke play tournament open to both professionals and amateurs. The tournament runs Saturday 12 September (First Round) and Sunday 13 September (Final Round), with pairings by score on the final round (lowest score tees off last). A practice round is included in the entry fee — participants are strongly encouraged to book tee times more than 10 days in advance by calling the pro shop or emailing garret@cottonwoodhills.com. Saturday and Sunday range balls are included. Box lunches are provided on both tournament days. An optional Par 3 Contest is held on the preceding Friday afternoon (from 3:00 PM) at no additional charge; open to all GVO participants only, non-handicapped, low stroke total wins. Carts are available to rent on a first-come, first-served basis at $25 per seat per day — patrons and caddies may not ride with a participant per RMSPGA rules. Maximum handicap index: 12 or lower, as confirmed by your handicapping authority. Amateur flights consist of 12 competitors, based on handicap index; the tournament committee may adjust flight sizes. Entry deadline for both amateurs and professionals is 5:00 PM on Tuesday 8 September 2026. Cancellation/refund deadline is also 5:00 PM on Tuesday 8 September 2026. Metal spikes are prohibited. PGA dress code applies: professionals must wear slacks with shirt tails in; amateurs may wear shorts but must have shirt tails tucked in. Professionals must register via the RMSPGA BlueGolf website. Non-affiliated professionals pay a $250 entry fee. There are no senior divisions. The field is limited to 123 players (39 professionals, 84 amateurs). A portion of sponsor fees benefits Eagle Mount of Bozeman, Montana.

Prizes

Amateur: $2,250 purse per flight (based on 12 players per flight at $175 per player): 1st $800, 2nd $550, 3rd $400, 4th $300, 5th $200. Pro: $16,000 total purse (based on a full field of 39 professionals). Par 3 Contest (Friday, professionals): 1st $400, 2nd $200, 3rd $100, 4th $50. Par 3 Contest (Friday, amateurs): 1st $300, 2nd $200, 3rd $100, 4th $75, 5th $50, 6th $25.
