Description

The Turkey Shoot takes place November 22-23, 2026 at Naperbrook Golf Course. This open competition features individual play using Stableford scoring, which rewards consistent performances throughout the round by awarding points based on score relative to par at each hole.

Naperbrook Golf Course is a links-style course located in northwest unincorporated Plainfield, Illinois, carved from farmland. The 18-hole course stretches 6,755 yards at par 72 and features four sets of tees to accommodate various skill levels. The layout is characterized by rolling hills, native prairie grasses, and ten ponds strategically placed throughout the course. Design elements include large greens, one double green, hidden bunkers, and wide fairways that provide both challenge and playability. The course offers substantial practice facilities, including a 10-acre driving range, a separate lesson tee, and dual practice putting greens spanning 10,000 and 3,000 square feet. The clubhouse contains a golf shop and food service area accommodating 60 guests, plus an outdoor patio. PGA professionals provide both indoor and outdoor instruction year-round. The course supports an active golf community with men's, women's, and junior leagues, plus membership programs and tournament facilities.
