Youche Country Club is a private golf course located in Crown Point, Indiana, redesigned by renowned architect Dick Nugent in 1991-1992 into one of Northwest Indiana's finest courses. The layout spans over 6,700 yards and features all bent grass in prime playing areas with meticulously maintained greens. The course presents a challenging design with 60 strategically positioned sand bunkers, eight ponds that come into play on demanding holes, and two forced carries over wetlands. Additional design refinements by Nugent and Associates in 2007 replaced three original holes and added a new driving range. The course is characterized by fast greens and excellent conditions, maintained to perfection daily by members and management. The surrounding landscape includes decorative flower plantings enhancing the course's aesthetic appeal. A new clubhouse completed in 2008 provides elegant dining facilities, premium locker rooms, and a fully equipped golf pro shop. The club maintains controlled membership levels to eliminate tee time requirements and keep average 18-hole rounds under 4 hours.
