Columbia Point Golf Course is an upscale daily-fee facility built and owned by the City of Richland, located on the eastern side of the Cascade Mountains adjacent to the Columbia River. Designed by James J. Engh, this parkland-style course opened in 1997 and measures 6,571 yards from the Championship tees, offering a variety of tee boxes to accommodate all skill levels. The course features mounded, rolling fairways and large, undulating greens characteristic of Engh's design philosophy. The layout presents a challenging experience for golfers of varying abilities. The clubhouse complements the natural beauty of the grounds, with a covered patio offering panoramic views of the front nine holes, spacious golf shop, and indoor café seating. Amenities include a fully-stocked golf shop, driving range with practice facilities, men's and ladies' lockers available for daily use, and a covered patio. The course is annually ranked by the Washington Western Golf Alliance and has hosted various tournaments and events throughout its history.
