Zaanse Golf Club is an 18-hole plus 4-hole golf course located in Wijdewormer, near Amsterdam, Purmerend, and Zaandam in the Netherlands. The course features A-status with a par of 71 and measures 5,505 meters in length. Set within quiet natural surroundings, the course is distinguished by having the most water of any golf course in the Netherlands, incorporating islands, ditches, a large lake, and extensive green areas.
A unique characteristic is that five holes feature tee shots from a polder dike offering expansive landscape views. The course welcomes both experienced golfers and beginners with well-maintained long and short holes and comprehensive practice facilities. The terrain supports diverse wildlife, including polder hares, birds of prey, and martens. The clubhouse terrace overlooks hole 18. The club has operated for 36 years and caters to various skill levels through organized competitions for beginners, advanced players, and single-handicap golfers, as well as youth and age-specific membership categories.
